Santosh Kumar Samvigya

Santosh Kumar (aged about 28)  is a teacher and joined the Ashram in 2006 . He has been active in the non-political dalit movement through Akhil Vishwa Sanvigya Samaj , Maulik Adhikar Sangharsh Samiti , BAMSEF and Bahujan Hitay . He did his B.A. from Banaras Hindu university  Also played kabaddy at the national level . His village is about 10kms from the Ashram . Younger boys from  poor households in the area often seek his guidance and  know him as master saa’b. He is now the coordinator of Gyan Mukti Manch, an initiative by the Ashram to place on the socio-political agenda the question of emancipation of knowledge from the clutches of corporate economics and powers that be.
