Gyan Mukti Manch (Emancipation of Knowledge Forum)

This is a result of the  Dialogue on Knowledge in Society being conducted by the Ashram.

• The forum spreads the idea that Knowledge today is captive to economic powers and exploitation of knowledge is both the source of new riches and spreading poverty and depravity.
• The forum conducts Knowledge Camps for Youth at the Ashram and in villages.
• The forum engages with students in the universities.
• The Forum presently based in Varanasi intends to have national and international spread. This with belief that if another world is possible , a world without poverty, one without social inequality, a world of equal opportunities to all , a world of fraternal concerns and self governance, then it is possible only through emancipation of knowledge.
