Exceprt from the Call for Papers: The conference on “The Emerging Organization of Knowledge and the Future of Universities” is being organised in Delhi during 19-20 Dec.2008 as a part of the 32nd Indian Social Sciences Congress (ISSC-08). Its goal is to develop an understanding of the new dynamics of knowledge and the future of universities in the context of the emerging technological and geo-political landscape. The complex set of issues here would be captured in papers and
talks covering two broad themes – (i) New Dynamics in the World of Knowledge, (ii) The University in Transition.
